Rules and Submission Instructions
for Entries Submitted Online:

1. Screenplays must not have been previously optioned, produced, or purchased prior to September 1, 2012.
2. Screenplays must be original work of applicant(s).
3. Winning screenplay submissions written by 2 or more writers require all awards to be divided equally among the writers.
4. Screenplays must be in English.
5. Multiple submissions are accepted but each submission requires a separate online entry and separate fee.
6. Screenplays must be between 90 - 125 pages.
7. Judges decisions are final.
8. Screenplays must contain at least one primary character who is gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or questioning.
9. Screenplays must portray the primary gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or questioning character positively.
10. Entry must be submitted online by midnight September 1, 2012.
11. Each submission requires a fee of $45.00 (US) payable through PayPal by using the button below.

Submission Instructions:

1. Pay $45 fee through PayPal.
   
2. Submissions must be in standard motion picture script format and submitted in the specificed file. (*.doc *.fdr *.pdf *.rtf *.txt)
3. Title ONLY should appear on the script title page.
4. Author(s) name(s) should not appear anywhere on the screenplay.
5. Each submission must include a 4 sentence or less synopsis.
6. By submitting online you are agreeing to the following:
   
   I/We have read all of the One In Ten Screenplay Contest rules and submission instructions and I/we understand and have complied with all rules and submission instructions. As the author(s) of the screenplay I/we have submitted to the One In Ten Screenplay Contest, I/we warrant as the sole and exclusive owner(s) of all legal rights and titles and have absolute authority to submit the screenplay to the One In Ten Screenplay Contest. I/We agree to hold the One In Ten Screenplay Contest, its judges, sponsors, partners, from and against all claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal expenses) arising out of or in connection with any and all claims, or third party claims based on scripts submitted to the One In Ten Screenplay Contest.
   
   
7. After completing PayPal payment email the following to Cherubfilm@aol.com:
   * The screenplay file. (*.doc *.fdr *.pdf *.rtf *.txt)
   * In the body of the email list the screenplay title, author(s) name(s), mailing address, phone number, paypal receipt number, and a 4 sentance screenplay synopsis.
8. You will receive email confirmation that Cherub Productions has received your submission along with a registration confirmation number.
