Rules and Submission Instructions
for Entries to be Mailed:
- Screenplays must not have been previously optioned, produced, or
purchased prior to July 20, 2012.
- Screenplays must be original work of applicant(s).
- Winning screenplay submissions written by 2 or more writers
require all awards to be divided equally among the writers.
- Screenplays must be in English.
- Multiple submissions are accepted but each submission requires a
separate entry form and separate fee.
- Screenplays must be between 85 - 125 pages.
- Cherub Productions is not responsible for screenplays lost, stolen,
or lost in shipping.
- Judges decisions are final.
- Entry must be postmarked by July 20, 2012.
- Each submission must be accompanied with a $40.00 (US) submission fee**
(Payable to: Cherub Productions, Horror Screenplay Contest).
**Entrants Outside of the United States
Please submit $40.00 (US) in cash or an international money order drawn on a US Bank.
Entry fees not drawn on a US Bank are subject to a $25.00 (US) bank processing fee.
Submission Instructions:
- Submissions must be in standard motion picture script format.
- Submissions must be accompanied by entry form.
- Title ONLY should appear on the script title page.
- Author(s) name(s) should not appear anywhere on the script.
- Each submission must include a 4 sentence or less synopsis.
- Submissions will not be returned.
