Screenplay Submission

Rules and Submission Instructions:

1. Screenplays must not have been previously optioned, produced, or purchased prior to December 1, 2011.
2. Screenplays must be original work of applicant(s).
3. Winning screenplay submissions written by 2 or more writers require all awards to be divided equally among the writers.
4. Screenplays must be in English.
5. Entrants must submit the first 10 pages of the screenplay ONLY! Finalists must then submit the entire screenplay.
6. Cherub Productions is not responsible for screenplays lost, stolen, or lost in shipping.
7. Multiple submissions are accepted but each submission requires a separate entry form.
8. Finalists screenplays must be between 90 - 125 pages.
9. Judges decisions are final.
10. Entry must be postmarked by midnight December 1, 2011.
11. Each submission must be accompanied with an entry form. There is no entry fee for the first mailed submission.
12. For each subsquent mailed entry by the same author there is a $5.00 USD entry fee. Make checks payable to Cherub Productions for additional entries.

Submission Instructions:

1. Submissions must be in standard motion picture script format.
2. Submissions must be accompanied by entry form.
3. Title ONLY should appear on the script title page.
4. Author(s) name(s) should not appear anywhere on the script.
5. Each submission must include a 4 sentence or less synopsis.
6. ***Remember - Only send the first 10 pages of the screenplay.
7. Submissions will not be returned.
8. ***Reminder - Only the first mailed entry is free. Additional entries without the $5.00 USD fee will be discarded.
